Blue / High Energy Visible (HEV) Light
Our natural Sunlight contains visible light rays as well as invisible light rays.
Invisible Ultraviolet (UV) rays is harmful to both our eyes and skin with overexposure. Therefore, we wear sunglasses, hats and other accessories to protect our body from them.
Visible light rays contain red, orange, yellow, green and blue light rays. Blue light having the shortest wavelength ranging from 390 to 500nm, has the highest energy. This means blue light is able to pass through the cornea and lens to the retina and potentially damages our eye structures and cause eye diseases such as cataract, age-related macular degeneration.
When we are outdoors, Sunlight is the biggest source of blue light. When we indoors, we are still exposed to blue light.
Computer screens, tablets, smartphones, LED TV screens, LED lights emit blue light.
That’s why they say, blue light is everywhere.
A little is good, but not too much
Some degree of blue light exposure in the day time is necessary for our well-being. Research has shown that it regulates circadian rhythm (wake and sleep cycle) and boost alertness.
However, Long exposure to blue light can lead to eye strain, eye fatigue and potentially eye diseases.
Make your Lens work for your eyes
With the increase in screen time, we are now exposed to blue light more than ever. Blue light lenses block out harmful blue light while allowing beneficial light to pass through, offering excellent visual comfort and great eye protection.
Amazing visual comfort, Maximum UV protection
Transition lenses darken when exposed to Ultraviolet (UV) light and return to clear when indoors. The lenses adapt seamlessly to any lighting.
With the latest technology, these lenses now transit faster and darker than before.

Transitions are the perfect combination of value and technology.
They are suitable for wearing all day long. You can enjoy every moment without worry.
